HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN
God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life! He has given each of us the tremendous opportunity through His Son Jesus Christ, of coming to know Him personally and finding freedom from sin and its terrible consequences. How can we come to know God and discover the abundant life He has for us?
1. We need to recognize that that because of our sin, we are separated from God. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
2. The penalty for our sin is death and eternal separation from God. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
3. Because of His love for us the penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ! "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
4. If we will repent and turn from our sin and put our trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved and find new life, abundant life in Him. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Are you ready to make that decision today? Ask the Lord for His forgiveness, put your faith in the Lord and He will save you. "For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

- Attend a Bible believing church for fellowship, teaching, and opportunities to
grow and serve.
- Read your Bible to help you with your Christian walk and life.
- Pray. As we read God's Word He speaks to us; as we pray we speak with
Him. Let Him know of your needs and concerns for yourself and others. Prayer
is our lifeline to God and fellowship with Him.
- Share your faith. Let others know that you are a Christian and stand for God.
